LEVEL 3: Pistol
This class builds upon and refines the skill sets previously established in Level 2 Pistol while also introducing shooters to new drills, cutting edge concepts, and core shooting principles.
Prerequisite: Level 2 Pistol or equivalent before you attend Level 3 Pistol. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun as well as have demonstrated competence in working from a holster and performing reloads.
Topics to be covered:
Speeding up the draw process
Move then shoot / shooting on the move
Performing malfunction clearing on the move
Performing emergency reloads on the move
Single hand shooting
Target to target transition drills
Course fee: $225 + range fee
Duration: 5 hours
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training with no refund. Handgun
Correct holster must cover trigger guard (No leather, nylon or serpa holsters)
NO MICRO OR POCKET PISTOLS
Magazine pouches
3 magazines
Sturdy belt
Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
Clothing suitable for training in any weather on outdoor ranges (class is held rain or shine)
Wraparound eyewear
Electronic hearing protection recommended
