New gun owners seeking familiarity and comfort, as well as those wanting to try something different and learn a new skill, will find this course to be the perfect foundation. Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge to safely handle and operate their handgun. The private range offers a casual, stress-free learning environment.

Firearms safety
Range etiquette
Components and operation of a modern pistol
Types and purposes of modern ammunition
Administrative loading and unloading of pistols
Fundamentals of basic shooting techniques
Acclimation to recoil and sound
Course fee: $200 + range fee
Duration: 4 hours
Estimated round count: 50 rounds of ammunition
What to bring:
Modern semi automatic pistol or revolver
At least 2 Magazines for semi automatic pistols
Eye protection (Mandatory)
Ear protection (Electronic ear protection recommended)
Folding chair
Water and snacks
Weather appropriate clothing. No low neckline shirts. No sandals or flip flops (This course is held rain or shine under cover)
