California 16 Hour Concealed Carry Course
The issuing Sheriff’s Department for Sacramento, San Joaquin and Placer counties requires that all new CCW applicants attend and pass a CCW training course.
Prerequisite: This is not a beginner course. Students must be able to show that they can safely manipulate and fire a handgun. Careless/unsafe gun handling is not acceptable and will be cause for removal from the class with no refund.
Course fee: $275 (includes up to 3 guns to qualify with) + range fee
Duration: 8 Hours each day.
What to bring:
Gun/s that you will be qualifying with.
At least 3 magazines for semi auto and at least 2 speed loaders for revolver.
Correct holster for each gun (holster must cover the trigger guard).
Magazine pouches (optional).
Safety / shooting glasses and ear protection.
150 rounds of ammunition per gun (bring extra just in case).
Weather appropriate clothing. Class will be held rain or shine. No open toed shoes or low cut shirts.
Hat with a brim
Water, snacks and lunch.
Folding chair.
An open mind and a great attitude.
